Marty Gauvin - Managing Director
Marty was one of the founders of Hostworks.
Prior to the establishment of Hostworks he was
Business Development Manager of Ngapartji (a
co-operative media centre) where he formed the
team that hosted MSN (Microsoft Network) sites
from the beginning of 1997 until ninemsn was
launched. Ngapartji hosted the ninemsn sites
until October 1999 when it sold its hosting
business to Hostworks. Marty was involved in the
establishment and development of an independent
IT consulting company as well as a software and
hardware R & D company between 1985 and 1997. In
1988 Marty was Young Australian of the Year and
one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the
World awarded in the Science and Technological
Development category.
Gary Thomas – Group Commercial Director B.Juris, LLB
Gary Thomas is an Executive Director responsible
for commercial matters including sales,
partnerships, corporate development, investor
relations and product development. Gary was
previously COO of Isec Limited and a senior
executive at Cable & Wireless Optus. He is the
founder and former Managing Director of ActMedia
Philippines; and has worked as a management
consultant with LEK Consulting in Australia and
Asia.
Peter Wildy - Chief Financial Officer/Company Secretary B.Arts (Accountancy), ACA, MBA
Peter Wildy joined Hostworks in August 2000 as Financial Controller and was appointed Company
Secretary of Hostworks Group Limited in February 2001.
Peter was appointed Chief Financial Officer in June 2002 and is responsible for the Group’s
financial management and reporting function as well as Human Resources. In addition he has
overall vendor relations responsibility and with his team co-ordinates the timely order,
delivery and support of Hostworks infrastructure.
Peter is involved with all parts of the business ensuring a consistent approach to the
companies overall objectives.
Peter commenced his career with Ernst & Young and worked for Baulderstone Hornibrook and
Woolworths prior to joining Hostworks. He is currently a member of the Australian Institute
of Chartered Accountants, holds a Bachelor of Arts (Accountancy) and completed his Master of
Business Administration in 2004.
Klaus Bartosch - Sales and Marketing Director
Klaus Bartosch
was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing of Hostworks in July
2003. Klaus has extensive systems integration, outsourcing and
consulting sales and sales leadership experience gained through
working with some of Australia’s leading customers and services
providers like DMR Consulting (now Fujitsu) and Aspect Computing
(now KAZ) prior to joining Hostworks.
