Hostworks digital roadies help RiAus to launch the nation’s first dedicated science channel

09 Dec Hostworks digital roadies help RiAus to launch the nation’s first dedicated science channel

In November, we helped the not-for profit organisation, the Royal Institute of Australia (RiAus), to launch RiAus TV, Australia’s first dedicated science channel – RiAus TV.

We have worked with RiAus since the beginning of this imaginative journey that started out as a concept and has evolved to become an Australian first! As RiAus’ digital roadies we are proud to be delivering RiAus TV to the future scientific minds of Australia.

When Bradley Abraham, RiAus general manager, first approached Will and the team, we knew the answer was simple; yes! RiAus is much like Hostworks – we’re both organisations where science and technology merge so we definitely wanted to help deliver science based content to students around Australia.

Our team worked together to mould the Hostworks Media Foundry platform to the RiAus vision and it quickly evolved to become a platform of imagination. Now we can deliver the content anywhere, to anyone, on any device – for free.

We are now part of something special. An innovative, immersive science channel that connects the great knowledge of Australia and the greatest scientific minds of both past and present with students, teachers, parents, anyone with the thirst to know more about science.

Broadcasts already included on RiAus TV include personal interviews with leading science communicators including Professor Brian Cox, Adam Spencer, Dr Carin Bondar and Professor Ian Chubb.

But that’s enough from us, how about you check it out for yourself at: riAus.TV
